I will be the first to admit, I don’t understand the many seemingly cruel and unusual practices that are encouraged in the name of hazing. Everything from food and sleep deprivation to physical beatings, binge drinking and drinking games; sexual simulation and sexual assault. Now I have been told, it encourages solidarity. I will be covering this topic later in hopes of coming to an understanding of what it really is about.
For now though just looking for some opinions on this topic. Especially related to Robert Champion, who allegedly was killed due to hazing.
Is it a necessary practice? Why?

What is diversity and who really is diverse? Is it all of us or some of us? History has shown that in one form or another, we have contributed to many things on this planet that is positve as well as negative. The Chinese, Natives of this land, Africans( Kemites, Kushites and all other ites) as well as other non European nationalities contributed to this global society. It has also shown that history can be written to act as if we don’t exist. One example, a professor recently came out and said he believed that the Mayans didn’t build their pyramids. That the environment over time is what really made them. He also said that Christopher Columbus really did discover America because there were not as many Native Americans as is stated even in Columbus’ own journal.
So for us to believe statements like these to be true is a monolithic ideology or concept that has no bearing in fact when you look at the stories of the past ( history) they gear knowledge away from the original state of being. When you look at knowledge and factual states of being, all stories come from one origin. Anyone who has traced or followed these stories and facts from the present day backwards can easily see all things come from one origin. Even white scientists, historians and archeologist note that it is a fact that the cradle of civilization starts in one place and even the bible tells you that place is out of darkness.
So, with that understanding, black is the one thing that you can’t get from anything else other than itself. So when you speak about diversity the power is yours when you open your mind to all that bring wisdom, knowledge, inner, over and understanding. Diversity..
When at rest I am free to move how I want to move, to think what I think and to create what feels right for me. Am I dreaming?
When awake, I’m constrained by time of others, which consumes daily activities and presses me against things I love and things I hate. Am I dreaming?
With eyes closed, stillness and darkness envelopes me like a blanket to allow myself freedom. Am I dreaming?
The underlying thought behind the statements and the question here is to provoke thoughts on questions of self existence and when looking at one’s self, one of the first if not the first question that comes to mind is what’s real?
No matter how it’s asked, whether it’s who is god? Who is Jesus? Who is Buddha? Who is Allah? Who is Jehovah? The question really being asked is who am I?
Or am I dreaming?
